Do I need to create an account?

No. Browser alerts are the main path. Email can be used later as an optional backup channel.

How do alerts work?

When a user clicks enable notifications, the browser asks for permission. With a real push provider connected, that device can then receive alerts.

Can categories be customized later?

Yes. This structure is designed to support category segmentation and more advanced routing later on.

Is the current notification flow live?

The front-end prompt is live. A real provider or custom subscriber backend still needs to be connected for production use.
